Nutritious Meals, Delivered with Care

If you or a loved one is having trouble shopping, cooking, or maintaining a balanced diet, Meals on Wheels can help. Each delivery brings more than food — it also brings a friendly visit and peace of mind.

How to Get Started

Complete the Assessment. NY Connects will review your eligibility for home-delivered meals through the Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services. If More Help is Needed. If you are not eligible for county-supported service, call Jamestown Meals on Wheels directly at 716-488-9119. We’ll review your situation and work with you on next steps.

Meals on Wheels is available to people in Chautauqua County who:

  • Are age 60 or older, or
  • Have health, mobility, or recovery needs that make it hard to shop or cook, or
  • Provide daily care for someone else and need meal support.

No one is turned away because they cannot afford to pay. Contributions are welcomed, and every dollar helps keep meals available for others in the community.

  • Hot, cold, or frozen meals designed by a registered dietitian to meet daily nutrition standards.
  • Holiday meals provided in advance so no one is left without food on special days.
  • Wellness checks with every delivery — volunteers and staff make sure clients are safe and supported.
  • Deliveries are made Monday through Friday.
  • Frozen meals can be scheduled for weekends.
  • Delivery schedules can be customized to fit your needs (for example, Monday–Wednesday–Friday or Tuesday–Thursday).

Meals on Wheels of the Jamestown Area delivers Monday through Friday in most of Chautauqua County, including the areas of Bemus Point, Busti, Town of Carroll, Celoron, Chautauqua, Clymer, Ellery, Ellicott, French Creek, Frewsburg, Town of Harmony, Jamestown, Kiantone, Lakewood, Mayville, Mina, Town of North Harmony, Panama, Poland, Ripley, Sherman, and Westfield.
