Meals on Wheels of the Jamestown Area asks its meal recipients to pay for the meals they receive.  Thankfully, about two out of every five individuals can pay for their meal – some pay the full amount.  But Chautauqua County has many senior citizens who need meals, but who don’t have the money available to pay for them.  That’s when we ask the community to donate money to help Meals on Wheels get the hot and cold meals in the hands of these individuals.

You can make a donation to Meals on Wheels by one of two ways:

You can make a direct money contribution to Meals on Wheels.  Your tax-deductible donation can be mailed to:

Meals on Wheels
P.O. Box 56
Jamestown, NY 14702-0056

or you can drop it off at:

Meals on Wheels
2020 Allen Street Extension

Falconer, NY 14733

You can remember Meals on Wheels in your will, or in a life insurance policy.  Just talk with your legal advisor to add Meals on Wheels of the Jamestown Area in your will or to your insurance policy.  You can also name Meals on Wheels as a recipient of bequests in an individual’s obituary.

These two options share a common goal – to support local individuals in following with the Meals on Wheels mission:

Our Mission:

To promote independence, self determination, and dignity for frail, homebound, elderly, or disabled persons by providing meals and other supportive services.
